As a resident of the UK, I’m pretty sure they’re called the KINGS guard, and were the Kings guard when you uploaded this video. They are the guard for the serving monarch, ie since QE2 passed, they’re the guard of King Charles. The guard are serving British soldiers in different troops or regiments. While we’re at it, the two dancing guards towards the end, one is possibly not a guard, rather someone in fancy dress, or they are off duty. The other is a guard on a parade ground playing about with his oppo’s, not on public duty.

The lady did not lose her glove. I watched another video where a police officer picked it up and gave it back to her, but she was warned not to do that again.

These guys are not just there for the cameras, they are very highly trained soldiers, many with extensive combat experience in some of the toughest regiments of the British Army. Do not mess with them.
